Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. This will be your dry mixture.
- In a separate large bowl, combine the melted butter, almond butter, and granulated sugar. Stir until well combined.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the almond butter mixture. Mix until smooth and fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Ensure no flour pockets remain.
- Pour the dough into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and allow the bars to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Once cooled, lift the bars out of the pan using the parchment overhang. Cut them into 12 squares and enjoy.
