Ingredients
- 36 Oreo cookies (about 360 grams)
- 8 oz cream cheese (225 grams), softened
- 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (340 grams)
- White chocolate, for drizzling (optional)
Instructions
- Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they are finely crushed.
- Add the softened cream cheese to the food processor and blend until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop the Oreo mixture with a spoon and roll into 1-inch balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to firm them up.
- Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
- Using a fork, dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing the truffle back on the baking sheet.
- If desired, drizzle with melted white chocolate for a decorative touch.
- Refrigerate the truffles for at least 1 hour or until the chocolate coating is set.
- Serve chilled, and enjoy your homemade Oreo Truffles!
