Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies (about 360 grams)
  • 8 oz cream cheese (225 grams), softened
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (340 grams)
  • White chocolate, for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they are finely crushed.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the food processor and blend until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Scoop the Oreo mixture with a spoon and roll into 1-inch balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes to firm them up.
  6. Place the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.
  7. Using a fork, dip each Oreo ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Let the excess chocolate drip off before placing the truffle back on the baking sheet.
  8. If desired, drizzle with melted white chocolate for a decorative touch.
  9. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 1 hour or until the chocolate coating is set.
  10. Serve chilled, and enjoy your homemade Oreo Truffles!
